The Mavericks held a 28-23 lead at half-time, but Surrey completed an impressive comeback win which boosts their hopes of a home semi-final and means Manchester Thunder are guaranteed top spot.Surrey can finish above Hertfordshire in second place due to goal difference if the Mavericks suffer another defeat in Mondays rearranged game with Thunder. Josie Huckle made a quick impact for Surrey when she was introduced in the third quarter, stealing three straight balls as Hertfordshires attack began to falter.
